Last month my mom went home excitedly and uttered there’s a Taal Vista Hotel promo for next month. Let’s go!
So at that very moment we called Taal vista hotel and reserved a superior room for the two of us. Just like last year we celebrated mother’s day in One Tagaytay Place.
Saturday morning we left the house around 8:30 going to Baclaran where Tagaytay buses can be found. We ride on Earjohn and Almark bus from Baclaran to Tagaytay everything went smooth I was able to fell asleep but when we reach Silang Cavite, the bus stop on its terminal. We don’t know the reason but they asks us to transfer to another bus it’s such a hassle because we waited there for 20 minutes. Moving on, we arrive at Tagaytay petron and get off the bus because it has a different route and will not pass by Taal Vista hotel. We take a jeepney from there to the hotel. By 12nn we are able to check in to the hotel. Here’s our room.
After a 15 minute rest we went out because we are so hungry! We don’t have a specific food chain or restaurant in mind but I remember a friend telling me before that RSM Lutong Bahay is good. So there, our first lunch
RSM has a fast food that serves seafood and other meals but we opted to order from the menu.
Drinks
We are actually torn if we are going to order Bulalo that cost Php 450 because there’s only the two of us good thing the soup is free
We ordered Sinugba instead and 2 plain rice
We are so full the food is okay but not exceptional (that’s according to mom
sabe nya mas masarap pa daw luto nya which is true)
Here’s the view of Taal Lake from RSM veranda
So after we had our lunch we went to Summit Ridge to check what’s in there and we also bought some snacks because we plan to take a rest first at the hotel because the weather is too hot to stay outside.
We stayed at our hotel room, it feels like the hotel swimming pool is calling me but its’ too hot to take a dip

We noticed that it’s still hot inside our room looks like the air-conditioning is not functioning. We called the reception and ask if someone can check our room because the ac is not working. The ac is centralized so we don’t have any idea how to fix it. The engineer went to our room and he agreed that it’s hot inside our room even we already set it to 10 Celsius. The receptionist called us and ask if we want to move to a different room and so we agreed because we can’t stand the heat.
We moved to room 313 the room’s ac is not centralized so we control it and put it to the coolest temperature. We get up from bed around 5pm. We went outside the hotel and this time I treated mom to a new restaurant (yey another item from to do list done). I will write it to a different post.
When we get back to our room, I found this in our table
Yes chocolates, we don’t know why they gave us chocolates maybe because of the hassle we experienced with the other room. ( dalawang chokolate para sa dalawang mareklamong mag ina. LOL)
Day one is over..
