We had a lot of misadventures during the whole trip but it was fun. First I thought our meeting place would be Jollibee Cubao so I get off there but when I check my phone the meeting place was moved from Jollibee to victory liner to five star terminal because there’s no 2am trip on victory liner. So I ride another bus to five star terminal because we all know cubao is not a safe place to walk
The group is already there waiting for the late comers! haha I was at Jollibee at exact time but too bad it’s not the meeting place (lol)
The trip starts by 2:30 am and since it’s too early most of us sleep during the trip. We get off at San Fernando Pampanga intersection and had our breakfast at chowking. We realize that we are way to early because the jeepney that we need to take will pass by 6am and we are already there waiting at 4am. So we took another way and look for another jeepney. The rain starts to pour really hard by this time so when we reached the registration place we are soaking wet and we need to use our poncho/jacket.
I know from start that it would be a challenging trek because it’s raining and the road is extra slippery.
We stop by our guide’s grandparent’s house so we can leave some of our things because it’s hard to trek if you have lots of things to carry, this time the rain stops so I leave my jacket as well.
After like 4 hours of walking, finally the summit!
Amazing view!
by 1pm we start to descent, this time we are extra careful because it’s super slippery. One wrong step and we’re dead: D While going up its raining hard going down the sun came up and now we feel super exhausted because of the heat. Sun burn galore!
We took our bath at our guide’s house and we ate dinner at Abe’s Farm that serves super delicious food.
’till next climb

@09158015271, i wanna climb, but by myself only. should i need a guide? how much is the total pay?
you need to register first, not sure if they will allow you to climb alone. There’s no fix pay for the guide, give him any amount you feel like giving him
i read some articles saying that the fee is 1000 pesos per guide? can i go without registering? i dont want to be hindered from going alone. i want to stay and camp on the peak alone, just wanna think things over you know. im going on saturday..
mam do you have any contact for the guide? and guys anyone who wants to join the climb on the 11th and 12th of February? It’s an overnight hike.
sorry sir i don’t have the contact no. of the guide. Bata yung guide namen yung nagparegister kame sya yung sinabe samen.
