Went to Bulacan with NEX group last weekend. This time we climb Mt. Balagbag which has a waterfall that looks like infinity pools.
I love Mt. Balagbag because it is an easy trek–although it looks like we’re going to have a cardiac arrest climbing up it takes us almost 3 hours to reach the campsite, well that’s because our group likes to take pictures as in a lot of pictures in all angles and expressions.
On our first day, our group decided to go to the fulls (falls
) first because the sun was striking hot .
The falls looks magnificent! Sarap maligo, the water is also cold so it takes away our exhausted feeling because of the sun’s heat. Climbing the waterfall wasn’t hard enough although some part of the rocks were slippery and sharp. After we ate lunch by the falls we took a rest for an hour then started our trek to the camp site.
After an hour of rest we started to continue with the trek. The surrounding view was breath taking, the locals were very kind.
It started to rain that night but despite the fog and rain, we had so much fun. Bonding with the group was one of the highlights of the climb.
The next day we went back to the falls and ma’am rhovee taught us about ropemanship, this is part of the BMC.
Suddenly it rained hard so we decided start descend. After taking a bath we went to ma’am Rhovee’s place and eat sopas. (Super sarap. Thanks ma’am sa uulitin )
Am looking forward to climbing with the group again, see you guys in the next climb
